February 2010 Chapter Meeting Speaker

Dinetta Richardson is a staff development specialist at WakeMed Health and Hospitals. She specializes in training adult learners to improve interpersonal skills and develop competencies that lead to personal and professional success. She develops and facilitates training in areas related to improving communication skills, team development, effective leadership, change management, and professional etiquette. In addition to facilitating classroom instruction, Dinetta offers consulting services to leaders who experience interpersonal problems and conflict within their teams.

Prior to moving into the field of education, Dinetta held various leadership roles in retail sales. It was there that she learned the importance of effective communication and the role that possessing good interpersonal skills play in the success of any individual, or group of people seeking to meet a common goal.

Dinetta graduated from Mount Olive College with a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development. In 2009, she received a Master of Education degree specializing in Human Resource Development from North Carolina State University.
