Debbi Hillman MS Ed, RH Ed
Assistant Director, Continuing Medical Education, Wake Area Health Education Center (AHEC)

Debbi holds a Master's of Science in Education degree from James Madison University in Vaand is a licensed and registered N. C. health education specialist. She has been working in continuing medical education with Wake AHEC since September 2009. Prior to coming to AHEC, she worked for 10 years as an education specialist in Corporate and Community Health at WakeMed Health & Hospitals. Her professional experience includes teaching adults and children the knowledge and skills necessary to make behavior changes to improve their health status. As an educator, she is passionate about learning and teaching new concepts to others in ways they can understand and apply to their own practice. She particularly enjoys developing and delivering presentations that are engaging and interactive. Her motto: Learning should be fun!
